With a deep passion for farming, Maggie is also keen on agribusiness and sustainable development,
integrating business strategies into agricultural ventures. Over the years, Maggie has honed the ability to build
proposals and business concepts, transforming ideas into actionable plans that yield tangible results.
Currently serving as a Sales and Marketing Executive at Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) since 2016,
Maggie has successfully led sales initiatives, built strong client relationships, and played a key role in revenue generation.
Prio to joining MBC, Maggie held leadership roles in the cotton and freight industries, gaining valuable expertise in exports, logistics,
and operational management. As Head of Operations and Marketing at Mapeto DWSM Ltd (Cotton Subsidiary), Maggie managed cotton markets,
oversaw export documentation, and ensured efficient supply chain operations. Additionally, as Marketing and Operations Manager at Woget
Cotton Ginning Company, Maggie played a crucial role in field operations, managing overseas buyers, shipping, and warehouse management.
Academically, Maggie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management along with diploma in Business Management (ABE) and Computer Programming & Operating (ACP).
She's a member of the Institute of Marketing in Malawi (IMM),
Maggie is proficient in marketing analytics and digital tools, including Microsoft Packages, SPSS, and Sage Line 50.
